Update: As of November 4th, I am no longer offering a reward, anyone with information would still be greatly appreciated. Reward!! Please Share! Fairview Baptist Church on Gabe rd, Clendenin, WV was burglarized between Sunday October 8 and Wednesday October 11. Our front door was kicked in and the thieves helped themselves to cleaning supplies, candy that was for treats for the children, and a variety of other items that the church members had purchased. Many of these items had been packed by the intruders, into a cooler and plastic tote and left near the door of the church. Apparently they intended to come back for them. Besides the damage done to the church, a personal iPad belonging to Pastor Johnny Dawson was also taken. This iPad was a gift given several years ago from his parents and was engraved on the back "Johnny and Amber Dawson" and also his cell phone number. It contains church documents and so is very important to Pastor Johnny and Fairview Baptist Church. They also took a Worx electric screwdriver that had been a gift to the pastor and a brass key that had sentimental value to Pastor Johnny. Pastor Johnny is offering a reward of $100 for the return of these items...iPad, key and Worx screwdriver. Easter Sunday sermon from Pastor Johnny Dawson. Unfortunately the video did not go all the way to the end of the sermon, at the end for the alter call everyone was invited to come write down their sins, problems, and worries and nail them to the cross, then the whole church gathered and prayed over it. After service the front board was removed and the cross was set in concrete beside the church.
